Bode is an advanced graphic designer with extensive experience in strategic planning, marketing communications, media relations, event planning, fundraising and more. Bode has always been driven by a passion for marketing and the thrill of delivering a strategy that is beyond expectations for her clients.
In college Bode pursued a degree in Communications, with a focus on public relations.
After college Bode began work with a start-up life science organization that needed brand development, fundraising programs, event planning, media relations, marketing strategy and more. Once the organization made a name for itself, Bode moved on to starting her own marketing agency – 834 Design & Marketing.
In 2009 Bode and business partner John Kowalski founded 834 Baba, a unique consulting firm built around maximizing efficiencies of sales, marketing and brand development while providing solid execution and public relations management.
Bode has been recognized as a 40 under 40 leader twice, and as one of Grand Rapids’ Influential Women.
